I would like to write a BIG Thank You to Carlson Funeral Home. Last Month, we hired them to handle the affairs of my grandfather's passing. I don't normally take the time to write reviews but the entire staff was such a blessing to us during such a difficult time.
Thank you for allowing our children to play football in the yard during the visitation and allowing us to "be at home".
A few years ago, I assisted in planning my uncle's funeral in Mantua and our experience was not nearly as enjoyable. It was actually quite frustrating and we did not feel that the staff was there to serve. We appreciate your business and your staff. Thank you again...
Witnessed at a recent viewing and memorial service, the staff handled situations more than unprofessional. I was absolutely appalled at the decisions they made. The staff forced the line through, closed the doors, and did not allow people to pay their respects. I witnessed family members being pulled from the service by staff not allowing them to spend time with the family and friends there, I witnessed the director speak over the intercom telling the people there that the family wanted to line rushed due to the time, I witnessed the family much more stressed than needed. I will never let any of my family members be in their hands. Do not hire them for their unprofessional services. You will not be satisfied.

Trish, Thank you for being such a sweetheart. You not only recognized the stress that my family was under while my grandfather was sick and we came in to pre-plan the funeral but you were amazing throughout the entire process from beginning to end. Your patience and compassion was truly felt and remembered.
Dr. Mike, thank you for making the initial consultation after my grandfather passed heartfelt and easier than it could have been. Thank you for the lovely service and really taking the time to get to know who my grandpa was. You told a beautiful story of his life. Also, thank you for surprising my father with the airplane that you found to put in the floral display. It's the little things that make the biggest difference.
